Parents

When I count my many blessings,
I am thankful for parents like you.
You understand and guide me
In everything I do.

You're there each time I need you.
When I need a place to hide,
You're there to tell me it's ok ..
My fears I can confide.

You never think I'm silly
When I tell of hopes and dreams;
You want them all to each come true...
At least that is how it seems.

I am thankful for the two of you
Who help me grow each day;
More and more by your example,
I learn to find the way.
